Whittlebury Park hosted the Northamptonshire regional finals of the William Hunt Trilby Tour on Tuesday 25th June 2019. After some initial rain, mist and cloud the sun came out and 150 players worked their way around 18 challenging holes of golf. Rob from Northampton came down to play with his son for the finals.
“It’s been an absolutely brilliant day, the staff have given me a warm welcome with a beautiful bacon roll and amazing service. This is my first time at Trilby and they truly have made me feel like a professional. This is also the first time I’ve ever had a caddie in a boiler suit so it makes me feel like I’m playing for the masters! I was having trouble getting my kit together before the event and the staff have been supporting me and making sure I got everything I needed before the event.
Me and my golf buddies have been locals to the club for a long time now, since it was first 18 holes. The course has always been challenging and fulfilling and the staff have been there supporting me over the years."
The highlight of my day has to be meeting William Hunt who was ever so friendly and let me have a selfie.”
