The Primary Objectives of Your Role:

To deliver, exactly to your client’s brief, paying particular attention to the setup, the welcome, the product and service delivery and indeed the farewell of every event to the company standards.  You will be on your feet all day, this is a physical role that involves the setup of business events in all areas of the resort which involves moving tables and chairs from room to room, floor to floor and venue to venue.

What the day to day looks like:

  • The vast majority of your day will be the setting up and dismantling events as per the function sheets.  This could be setting up a meeting for 30 or an exhibition for 300 and dismantling a conference for 250 so you must be comfortable lifting equipment and furniture
  • Meet and greet your clients enthusiastically and professionally
  • Ensure all Event areas are cleaned and sanitised throughout the day
  • Delivery of Delegate breaks and lunches across the Estate
  • Assist where needed to deliver an exceptional customer experience to all

Who you are:

  • You’re a real people person, you can chat to anyone and you make it your goal to understand their requirement
  • You love being in a physically demanding role where you're on your feet all day
  • You will be the person that the Event Organiser on the day wants to speak to because you will ensure that their every request is dealt with efficiently, personably and with your personality and character behind it
  • You understand the different Event setup styles as you will have a degree of prior experience
  • You can work on your own as well as part of a large team
  • You’ll have a real eye for detail, the ability to solve problems on the go and be flexible to the changing needs of the business
  • Ability to work 5 days out of 7

Salary: 40hrs per week contract, starting salary of £10 per hour and subject to a probationary period of 3 months.
