Sales Co-ordinator

As a Reservations Sales Co-ordinator you will:

• Take incoming reservation calls for the hotel, spa, and golf course, make outbound calls to offer last-minute upgrades to upcoming arrivals.
• Responding to queries via both email and telephone call-back inquiries from the Reservations inbox within agreed timelines, Addressing Live Chat inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all interactions, whether by phone, email, or chat, are handled timely and professionally, liaising with other hotel departments concerning special or dietary requests.
• Maximise Revenue using availability and upselling techniques and accurately input all reservations into Visual One and Visual One Spa promptly, confirming to the guest in writing. Aswell as processing of gift voucher sales and purchases from both telephone bookings and the online shop.

Our ideal candidate is a good team player who thrives in a busy working environment. Key skills include excellent customer service, keen attention to detail, ability to multitask, and efficient time management. Previous experience in taking customer service-based calls, composing emails, and using a computer is recommended.

You should be familiar with all promotions, offers, and advertisements related to room sales and spa treatments, and have a good overall knowledge of Whittlebury Park and what we offer.

You will be fully aware of monthly targets in upselling and call statistics. Attendance at training sessions as requested is required. Given the dynamic nature of the hotel industry, you may occasionally be asked to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management in other departments.

The hours of work will be 5 days out of 7, and include weekends and bank holidays.
