Will changing facilities, including lockers and showers, be usable?
Yes. We intend to make lockers available so members can store their valuables. Lockers will be clearly labelled if in use or not. We would encourage all members to shower at home and arrive in gym wear if possible. Showers will be available but due to social distancing measures we may need to restirick changing room usage and this could cause a delay in using changing room facilities.
How are you prioritising members for gym, class and pool booking sessions?
Only existing members will have access to the timetable when it goes live on the Mywellness app. The booking slots will not be accessible to the general public.
Will we need to book all gym, class and swimming sessions through the Mywellness app?
Yes. We will be putting all booking slots onto the Mywellness app. The Leisure Club re-opens on 10th August and the booking slots will appear on the app from 3rd August.
You can watch our various Mywellness videos on our YouTube channel, including how to create your account.
Will I need to pay £6 per session whether it is for the gym, a class or pool session?
If you were previously on a direct debit then yes. We will look to evolve the booking system in the weeks following The Leisure Club opening to offer even more value when booking your sessions.
If you were a pre-paid member we have written to you with your revised expiry date and usage options
When will you relax the new regulations and return to normal?
We are now offering a reduced timetable although we are aiming to keep a wide variety of classes. You can now view our temporary class time table on the website
How many members will be able to participate in classes when being held in the studio?
To ensure we adhere to correct social distancing guidelines, 6 members can participate in classes when being help in the studio. We can accommodate more members when we hold classes in a function room in the main Hotel.

Have we missed a question? Email membership@whittlebury.com and we will respond as quickly as possible.
Will you be changing the pricing structure for the ‘Pay as you go’ system?
We would like to start collecting member’s direct debits again when we feel we can offer similar facilities to that prior to the closure. As we cannot currently offer unlimited usage without time restrictions, direct debits will remain frozen. We may look at introducing a different range of payment options in the future, including off peak/peak pricing or a discount for purchasing sessions in bulk. We will communicate any changes by email.
When will Aqua aerobics return on the timetable?
Aqua has always been a popular class and we would like to put this back onto the timetable as soon as possible. Once social distancing guidelines are relaxed we can review the timetable and aqua can potentially return.
Can I restart my Personal Training sessions?
Yes, please contact your Personal Trainer as you normally would and we will endeavor to book you in at your required time. Please be aware, our Personal Trainers will be wearing PPE when conducting Personal Training sessions.
When will I be able to bring guests with me to The Leisure Club?
When we reopen we will only be able to allow current Leisure Club members to use the facilities. As soon as we can accommodate member’s guests we will communicate this by email. We have also taken the decision to pause our ‘Friends Free Wednesday’ promotion until such time we can allow more guests in at one time
