Whittlebury Park hosts Women’s Golf Day event at its championship golf course

Date Posted:20/05/2019

Whittlebury Park in Northamptonshire will be hosting a Women’s Golf Day event on Tuesday 4th June 2019 from 4pm-8pm at its award-winning championship golf course. The event, which is exclusively for women who have an interest in learning or developing their golfing skills will have an informal itinerary and include tuition from Whittlebury’s resident PGA Professional, Richard Cartwright. There will also be a networking opportunity, refreshments and the chance to play on the course itself.

Returning for its fourth year, Women’s Golf Day is an international community where women can engage in the game for the first time or for those who are currently playing, to network with others and help newcomers to the game. Whittlebury’s participation in the event means that it will be joining hundreds of other venues in 52 countries who are also hosting similar events around the world.

Whittlebury Park's Head of Event Sales, Emma Hayes said; “We are really looking forward to engaging with the Women’s Golf Day community this year. Our golf course is open to everyone and we want to more people to know that no matter what level of golfer they are, we’ve got great facilities and a welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy whether they live locally, or are just visiting."

Whittlebury Park welcomes golfers of all ages* and abilities to its course, and bookings can be made for both leisure and corporate events. Their dedicated team take care of each booking from start to finish and bespoke packages can be created for all group sizes.
