PR & Marketing Co Ordinator (3 - 6 month contract)

The PR & Marketing Co-Ordinator will support the Marketing Team and Senior PR & Marketing Executive with the day- to-day delivery of a broad range of marketing and PR activities in order to attract and retain customers for all WP products and services across the diverse market segments.

Job purpose:

The PR & Marketing Co-Ordinator will support the Marketing Team and Senior PR & Marketing Executive with the day- to-day delivery of a broad range of marketing and PR activities in order to attract and retain customers for all WP products and services across the diverse market segments.

This role will also support the aim to further enhance our brand awareness and broaden our reach through optimising the effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing and PR effort by measuring activity and therefore gain a greater ROI.

To provide support for the implementation of the overall marketing and PR plan to deliver annual budget and revenue targets for Whittlebury, and meet strategic objectives.

Main duties:

  • Assisting the Marketing and PR Executive and supporting the Marketing Team with all offline marketing and PR activities
  • Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards and be a brand champion
  • Maintain an accurate understanding of current and forthcoming WHS marketing and PR plans and audience priorities
  • To deliver direct marketing and communications to customers through multiple offline channels to drive acquisition, conversion, retention and loyalty
  • Coordinating with the companies’ creative/print/media/PR agencies and suppliers, including working on projects and ad hoc initiatives, to ensure best practice and effective ROI
  • To deliver tactical and promotional campaigns across all relevant offline channels, including print, advertising and media, for distressed inventory and to drive overall revenue target
  • Provide marketing and PR support to the sales team to drive revenue, including managing delivery of exhibitions, events and outreach activities
  • To deliver marketing and promotional materials across the business, and manage the day-to-day distribution and supplies
  • Monitor and provide customer insight and behaviour, market insight and competitor trends across relevant sectors, region and beyond, providing insightful reporting to support product and promotional development
  • To deliver on-site communications activity including Point of Sale, Merchandising and collateral, excluding digital, and maximise upsell/cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue
  • To support and influence the delivery of key business projects including the Rebrand, GDPR, Data and CRM and more as required
  • To support the day-to-day PR programme to include all activity groups to target key media and audiences across all segments
  • To support the press office function day-to-day delivery including handling press enquiries, co-ordinating film requests and media on-site
  • To support the internal PR programme with briefings/news updates to maximise the profile of the business to its employees, enhance employee engagement, recognition and retention.
  • To deliver report writing and analysing data, alongside assessing campaign results and monitoring/evaluating media coverage
  • To manage reader offers and competitions, particularly where we have editorial opportunities, to maximise exposure in key target media channels
  • To manage data capture activity and data input needs to maximise future marketing and revenue potential.
  • To co-ordinate media, filming and photography needs on-site, as required
  • To deliver the day-to-day partnerships, sports and hospitality marketing and PR activity
