What are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a person who is passionate about the leisure and fitness industry and wants to help all our members thrive and achieve with their fitness goals.
Already being level 2 and/or level 3 qualified you will have the skills and knowledge to deliver gym inductions and construct exercise programs to a high standard. You will have the ability to connect to our member’s goals and align your fitness experience for them to get the most out of their gym membership and gym usage.
Being level 2 qualified you will also have the opportunity and responsibility to showcase your fitness class talents. Planning and delivering weekly fitness classes will be vital to fulfil this role and previous experience in Indoor Cycle classes, Fitness Pilates and Aqua Aerobics is preferable.
This role is for someone who is extremely self-disciplined and is willing to take a proactive approach in providing our members with a high quality service.
Main Area of Responsibility
What does a typical day look like?
Working a 40 hour week with a mixture of either early, late or day time shifts your day will be varied. It’s exciting to know your day will be filled with gym inductions, delivering classes and interacting with our members either in the gym, The Leisure Club reception desk or in a class. You will also be responsible for maintaining standards in the gym operationally, including cleanliness, health and safety checks and other operational checks. As part of your role you will also be trained to ensure all of our Jacuzzis and swimming pool were maintain to the correct pool test levels. These tasks will be done to impeccable standards.
How would you excel in this position?
We are very keen to develop the best talent. Showing a determination to excel in this role is important. Exceling in the fitness instructor role can be done in many ways, these would include; Implementing new ideas from a new prospective, suggesting new initiatives to overcome any existing challenges, building a proffesional and friendley rapport with our members, over delivering with the completion of reports and tasks set out by The Leisure Club Manager.
