The four-star countryside hotel has been shortlisted in the Conference & Banqueting Team of the Year category of the awards, for outstanding work over the past year in delivering exceptional events for both corporate and private clients.
Key achievements of the team over the past year have included increasing hotel occupancy by 11%, increasing RevPAR by 15%, achieving customer satisfaction scores as high as 100% and securing 72% of all business as repeat business.

The Hotel Cateys is the leading awards ceremony for the UK hotel industry. Now in their 12th year, the awards are the hotel industry’s only truly independent benchmark of operational excellence across a variety of roles and departments.
Marc Webster, commercial director at Whittlebury Hall, said: “The Conference and Banqueting department at Whittlebury Hall is an integral part of the business, and has been one of the best performing departments over the past year. Our ethos at Whittlebury is to be ‘remarkable’ in every way, and each and every member of the C&B team exemplifies that. I am incredibly proud that the team has been shortlisted for the Hotel Cateys, and they really do deserve to be recognised on a national stage for what they have achieved.”

The winners of the Hotel Cateys 2018 will be revealed at an awards ceremony on 23 November at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel.
