Public Area Cleaner

Salary: £10.50 – £12.21 per hour

At Whittlebury Park, we are looking for enthusiastic team players to join our busy Housekeeping Department as Public Area Attendants.

Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury offers an award-winning 254-bedroom four-star hotel, conference, and training centre. We have award-winning facilities, including a 3 AA Rosette restaurant and a luxurious spa.

2 x 20 hours per week, 5-hour shifts for 4 days (6:30am – 11:30am), roles available.

The Role:

As a public area attendant, you will:

Be responsible for cleaning & maintain high standards in all public & staff areas of the estate on a day-to-day basis, ensuring guest requests are carried out in a willing and pleasant manner.
Be swift in your approach to getting to and from the different locations to complete tasks.
Be flexible in the duties required of you, including the upkeep and cleanliness of guest bedrooms.
Ensure all keys & radios taken are signed in and out daily
Report and safeguard all lost property items, ensuring they are all handed in following the company procedures, including reporting of any maintenance issues/damage or missing items.

As the ideal candidate, you will have previous hotel experience in a cleaning or janitorial role and be able to work under your own steam and deliver an outstanding customer experience in a professional and efficient manner.
