Salary: £26,767.08 per annum, full-time

Whittlebury Park is looking for a motivated and reliable handyperson to join its small dedicated maintenance team.

Basic plumbing and carpentry skills and experience of painting and decorating are essential requisites of the job.

Experience of working in a similar environment and a working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations would be beneficial.

The Role:

As a member of the maintenance team, you will;

Carry out work required to repair, maintain, and improve the buildings and facilities within the designated area of Whittlebury Park.
Take receipt of deliveries and store items or goods safely pertaining to maintenance.
Complete short-term maintenance work, responding promptly to emergency repairs affecting guest bedrooms with a common-sense approach to causing minimal disruption to our guests.
Deal with emergency and breakdown calls, responding quickly and efficiently, ensuring all security procedures laid down by the Hotel are strictly adhered to.

As the successful applicant, you must be able to work unsupervised. Due to our remote location, you must have your own reliable transport as public transport is not available.

Please note due to the nature of this position you may be required to work irregular hours including late evenings, and weekends.
