Leisure Club Receptionist

as a member of our Leisure Reception team, you will:

• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure the optimum guest experience
• Welcome our members, day guests and hotel residents to The Leisure Club
• Deal with incoming and outgoing telephone calls, gym health and safety checks & Leisure Club shop sales
• Conduct health and safety walk rounds, pool testing, food and beverage duties & liaise closely with the membership and gym teams
• Maintain good knowledge of Whittlebury Park & what it can offer enhancing the guest experience and upselling of hotel facilities

This can be done in many ways, and includes: being personally mentioned in any of The Leisure Club’s feedback channels from members and guests, suggesting and implementing new ideas from a new perspective to improve or enhance current systems, and over-delivering with the completion of reports and tasks set out by The Leisure Club Management team.

As the ideal candidate, you will be passionate about the leisure and fitness industry and delivering excellent customer service. You will also have experience in working in the industry before, and experience in pool testing, classes, and gym operations is preferable.

The hours of work will vary and will include weekends, late evenings, and holiday periods.

This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. Therefore, you may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management.
