As a Receptionist at Whittlebury Spa your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent guest service and ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for our guests. You will be the first friendly face our guests will meet and your role is crucial in creating a warm and welcoming environment.
What will you do?
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and welcoming spa guests, addressing their enquiries, and offering assistance throughout their visit.
- Anticipate guests’ needs to exceed expectations wherever possible.
- Prepare for guests’ arrival and set up ready for their welcome ritual.
- Manage and oversee the changing facilities and Heat and Ice Experience to ensure areas are tidy and presentable.
- Be knowledgeable about the Spa, treatments, and package offerings in order to answer guest questions.
- Administrative tasks such as data entry, organising paperwork, and planning arriving guests’ locker allocations.
- Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling guest enquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area, as well as stocking necessary retail and stock supplies.
- To report for duty punctually as per the rota, wearing the correct uniform, and adhering to appearance standards.
- Forming a good working relationship with your team.
Shifts
- Shift times can start as early as 7.00am and can finish up to 10.30pm (8.5-hour shifts)
- Full-time is a 40-hour contract. 5 days out of 7.
- Both weekday and weekend work are required, with at least one weekend off per month.
About you
- Possess exceptional guest service skills
- Ability to forward-think and anticipate guests’ needs
- Have a passion for the beauty and spa industry.
- Whilst there are no specific experience requirements for the role, previous experience in a guest-facing or customer-facing position is desirable.
- Valid First aider training or first responder training is also beneficial to your application
