Hello! My name is Sarah Watts and I work as an HR Administrator at Whittlebury Park. I have been at Whittlebury for 12 years and originally my journey here started on the main hotel reception. Through having support from my team, I worked my way up to a reception supervisor.
Throughout my time on reception, I learned a great deal about the company, my colleagues and I attended customer service workshops, which enabled me to do my job to the best of my ability.
As a working mother it has always been very important to me to have a good work life balance and this is something that Whittlebury has always been able to offer me. Their approach and flexibility within the company is second to none.
Whittlebury park is always encouraging of career progression. So, for me when I saw an internal vacancy for within the Human resources team, I jumped at the chance to apply as I wanted to further my career and explore a different side to working at Whittlebury Park. This so far has been the best step that I have taken for my career inclusive of their support enrolling me for my CIPD diploma in HR.
I am proud to say I look forward to coming into work and this is to do with the values and nurturing, motivating and happy culture at Whittlebury Park.
