GRAND-PRIX WEEK CAMPSITE  INFORMATION 

 

                        
CAMPSITE  RECEPTION
ALL GUESTS MUST REPORT TO RECEPTION ON ARRIVAL.
Tuesday to Wednesday the office is manned during office hours.
Thursday to Sunday it is manned  24hours a day.

CAMP-SITE NEWS LETTER
A copy will be given to every vehicle on arrival at reception. 
Guests must ensure they receive a copy and that everyone in their party is made aware of the content.

MAIN PLOT & VEHICLE PASSES
Each pass is valid from 2pm on the Tuesday prior to main race day to the Monday after and entitles guest to a PLOT SIZE of 6m x 7m which is sufficient for either a vehicle and tent, a vehicle and caravan or a mobile home and awning.  Occupancy is based on 4 adults or two adults with children.  PASSES must be placed in the vehicle window before entry will be permitted and must be kept displayed at all times.  MOBILE HOMES OVER 6m LONG WILL REQUIRE A SPECIAL PLOT ~ P.O.A. Contact our reception during normal office hours.

 

PLOT ALLOCATION
Plots can be reserved on a particular Camp-site subject to availability.  However, in adverse weather conditions we reserve the right to allocate plots on arrival to avoid traffic congestion, difficulties finding plot numbers, damage to the camp site etc.  Whittlebury Park also reserves the right to move guests to a different plot

 

ADDITIONAL VEHICLE PASS
An extra 2m will be allocated to plots for an additional vehicle ( car or motorbike), provided it is booked in advance with the plot ~ PLEASE

 

NOTE:
Extra Vehicles:- cannot be parked next to plots if an additional pass has not been reserved in advance and will have to park AS DIRECTED.
Large Groups:- Will need to reserve sufficient PLOTS and ADDITIONAL

 

VEHICLE PASSES:- on a pro-rata basis.  Whittlebury Park reserves the right to move guests occupying areas larger than their permitted plot and / or charge an additional fee and / or request the party to leave.


Please avoid difficulties and delay on arrival:- If you consider your party may require additional plots or vehicle passes, telephone 01327  850000 and ask for camping department.  Check your requirements BEFORE returning your booking form and / or arriving on site.

ARRIVALS  OUT OF OFFICE HOURS / AFTER DARK
For safety reasons and to avoid disturbance to other guests , guests arriving after dark may be required to park up overnight on the late arrivals camp-site near to the reception then relocate to their pre-booked plot in daylight.

 

ELECTRIC HOOK-UPS   
We have 3 sites for Electric hook up. The Pavilion (18 plots), The Atrium (16 plots) and the Farm site Paddock (12 plots).   PLEASE NOTE.  2 Kilowatts maximum

ATRIUM
The Atrium Golf Clubhouse will be open in the evening for Dinner. 

 

PAVILION
Generally open daily from 7am to 10pm for breakfast, snacks, lunches and evening meals.  Check times with the Pavilion on arrival.

PADDOCK BAR / CAFE /  SHOP
Situated by the Reception and has a licensed bar with TV.

 

MARQUEE - BAR / DISCO / PIG ROAST
Open  Friday & Saturday from 6pm to midnight.

GOLF COURSES
Our Championship golf courses are open to the public.  Visitors are welcome to play subject to wearing the appropriate golf clothing and adhering to the rules of the course.
It is recommended that Tee times are reserved in advance with our Pro-shop on 01327 858588

 

WATER PRESSURE
Guests are asked to conserve water and use facilities at off peak times to avoid congestion and spread demand.  The entire region surrounding Silverstone suffers from poor water pressure, for which Whittlebury park accept no responsibility.

TICKET  PACKS
All tickets will be sent out 4 weeks before the Grand-Prix  If you have not received your Ticket pack two weeks before you are due to arrive, please telephone our office Monday to Friday between 9am & 5pm on 01327  850071 to arrange collection on arrival.

 

INSURANCE & CANCELLATIONS
Guests are recommended to arrange personal and 3rd party insurance against any loss, damage or being unable to attend for reasons outside their control. 

CANCELLATION OF ANY EVENT BY SILVERSTONE CIRCUIT IS OUTSIDE THE CONTROL OF WHITTLEBURY PARK YOUR RESERVATION CONFIRMS ACCEPTANCE OF THE WHITTLEBURY PARK  CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION ON BEHALF OF ALL GUESTS ATTENDING WHITTLEBURY PARK.  PERSONS FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE TERMS & CONDITIONS WILL BE DEEMED TO BE TRESPASSING AND HAVE TICKETS WITHDRAWN WITHOUT EFUND

               2008 Conditions of Admission
 

The purchase of a camp site pass constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

 

Whittlebury Park is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage, howsoever caused, to you except where any such loss, injury or damage is caused by the negligence of Whittlebury Park, its employees or agents.

 

Tickets are issued on the express condition that the user(s) will at all times comply with

CAMPSITE INFORMATION & CONDITIONS published  by Whittlebury Park.

 In the event of non compliance, tickets may be cancelled.  Only vehicles displaying a valid official car park pass will be able to gain entry to the complex.  Please keep this ticket safe and in good condition as a duplicate ticket will not be issued if it is lost or stolen and a defaced or illegible ticket may become invalidated.  Your statutory rights are not affected.

 

WARNING

 

Guests are attending a large site in the countryside with limited temporary facilities and are responsible for taking all reasonable precautions to conduct themselves in a safe and sensible manner, to avoid personal injury, please be sure to bring

suitable clothing, equip themselves with personal safety items, torches, fire extinguishers, first aid kits etc. 

While at the venue you should always keep to the designated paths and access all  areas with caution using steps/path as appropriate.

 

THE LIGHTING OF OPEN FIRES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND WILL BE EXTINGUISHED

THE LETTING OFF OF FIREWORKS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED, IT IS ALSO ILLEGAL

AND THE POLICE WILL PROSECUTE OFFENDERS

CAMP-SITES ARE TO BE KEPT QUIET AFTER DARK

NO PETS ALLOWED ON SITE EXCEPT GUIDE DOGS

 

Staff regularly patrol camp-sites, but it is impractical to permanently monitor all areas. 

ALL GUESTS are responsible for assisting with the enforcement of

camp-site conditions, by being vigilant and notifying reception immediately of any incidents. Call 01327 850000

 

Any problems of any description must be notified to the camp-site

reception at the time of occurrence and a written record of notice obtained.

 

PLEASE  NOTE

 

Whittlebury Park welcomes guests who respect the premises,

conduct themselves in a safe manner and show consideration towards others.

 

We reserve the right to alter your plot allocation, facilities within the site etc.

particularly in adverse weather and for  operational or site safety reasons without prior notice.

 

Whittlebury Park  reserves the right to refuse admission and to remove persons from the venue for any reason.  Security searches may have to be conducted to ensure the safety of persons at the event.  All persons seeking entry to the site acknowledge Whittlebury Park’s right to search any person entering the site and to refuse entry to or eject from the site any person refusing to submit to such a search.  In the interests of public safety, Whittlebury Park reserves the right to request you to leave the venue at any time for safety reasons or immediately after the event.

 

Official merchandising is only on sale inside the venue. 

No unauthorised trading is permitted within the venue or any official car parking facility.

 

Any changes in address should be notified in writing to the Booking Office.

Your tickets will be despatched approximately four weeks prior to the event. 

We regret that we are unable to guarantee safe delivery and we accept no liability for lost-in-post claims.

Making a reservation confirms acceptance of the above CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION

on behalf of all guests attending Whittlebury Park

 

PLEASE NOTE ~ If a pass is purchased for any event except the British Grand-Prix and the dates changes

there will be no refund of monies or exchange. 

Whittlebury Park is unable to offer refunds or exchanges in respect of pass purchased even if the event is cancelled. 

Circuit entry tickets should be purchased directly from Silverstone.

 

If the Grand-Prix date is changed and you cannot make the new date please inform

us in writing before the 31st January 2008  and we will make a refund less the £30 booking fee
